Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Upper Zone)
The ruins of an Ancient city that is guarded by Ancient Weapons. Or at least, what is left of them.
Although the Ancient Weapons are damaged, they are still powerful enough to threaten most adventurers.
Also, there are more of them than you would think so be careful not to get ambushed!
The entrance to Sycraia Underwater Ruins can be difficult to find for first-time visitors. You’ll need to find the location shown in the World Map (Hotkey: M) below.
▲ Location of the Sycraia Underwater Ruins.
Once you are at the spot indicated on the World Map, you need to dive.
There are four entrances into the ruins, facing north, south, east, and west. They look like stone gateways, and can be seen in the images below.
If you’re having a hard time finding an entrance, don’t forget to come back up for air before continuing your search.
Also note that if you try to enter the ruins through any other way than these four entrances, you will be blocked by a force field.
Of course, the preferred way of reaching this location would be by ship, as you will be able to simply return to the ship and recover if you start to run low on stamina or breath. Once you are in the ruins, your character will be able to breath normally.
Tip: You can recover Stamina by pressing “F” while floating above the water.

Monster Types and Level
- Mostly Lv. 60 monsters.
- They are all melee monsters.
- – The most populous monster is the Damaged Pirash. If you attack one, several more will start swarming you, so beware.
- – Keep an eye out for Damaged Lykins and Damaged Kurebas. They can perform powerful attacks.
- – Tons of these monsters are clumped together so you can dish out punishment en masse.
- – However, unlike on land you will not have convenient access to your mount to store your loot.
▲ It may not seem like it but there are many Damaged Pirashes around.
This is not a difficult Monster Zone, but some may find its relative far distance from land inconvenient.
On the bright side, this means you should be left more or less undisturbed by other adventurers.
|Minimum||Lv. 60 +||230||260|
|Recommended||Lv. 61 +||250||280|
– Be careful of the Damaged Pirashes. They tend to attack in groups.
– Damaged Lykins and Damaged Kurebas can perform powerful attacks. They telegraph these attacks, so it’s best to recognize this early and react to it before it destroys you.
