Mediah Lv. 51 ~ Lv. 56 Hunting Guide

J4sDosU.png

Around Level 51 ~ 52 is when players should move on to Mediah. You will first head to the [Abandoned Iron Mine] if you continue following the flow of the quest, but you’re free to go elsewhere more appropriate to your level or equipment.

Mediah is generally known to be an uncivilized land. You will experience a very different atmosphere to Calpheon as many of the hunting grounds portray such history. You'll also gain more EXP and loot from here, so consider it as a stepping stone towards becoming a seasoned player.

This guide also has details about the [Kuit Islands], which are not part of the Mediah region, but have a similar level bracket. The [Kuit Islands] are the den of the Cox Pirates and is located to the northwest end of the continent. Thus, you will need to get yourself a boat in order to get there.

Abandoned Iron Mine

Back in the day, this was a main mining camp in Mediah, but now it has been taken over by Barbarians pushed here from the south. There are no rules here: only the strong survive. The place is always full of commotion with its unending clamor and noise.

1. Monster Types and Level

1) Basic Information

Mostly Lv. 50 ~ Lv. 53 monsters

Melee: Rhutum Guard, Red Orc Guard, Red Orc Sentinel, Saunil Guard, Khuruto Chaser, Khuruto Guard, Rhutum Sheriff, Saunil Sheriff, Khuruto Executor, Khuruto SheriffRanged: Rhutum Chief Priest, Thunder Drummer, Lightning TrumpeterOthers: Tacky Fire Cannon, Tacky Stone Wagon

Violent (Stardust Candy): Imp Work Supervisor, Troll Work Supervisor

2) Features

Has high monster density, but the spiral terrain may make it difficult to come up with hunting routes.- The largest and most extensive hunting ground of the entire region. This makes it very important to know where to hunt.- You can carry out various battle quests from Abun together with the Black Spirit Daily quest.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

The common monsters aren’t difficult for someone with the minimum/recommended requirements, but the first Violent monster you meet here will be very daunting. So if you only meet the minimum requirements, be very careful of the Violent monsters.

Level AP DP
Minimum 51 75 ~ 85 110 ~ 120
Recommended 52 85 ~ 95 120 ~ 130

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

At first, you may be taken aback by the mix of melee and ranged monsters here with the Thunder Drummer and Lightning Trumpeter playing music (?) nearby. The best way is to lure the melee monsters to where the ranged monsters are, then take care of them together. Although defeating the Violent (Stardust Candy) Imp Work Supervisor and Troll Work Supervisor grants various loot, they must be fought with caution as they are bunched up with the other monsters and a status effect can quickly spell your doom.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

If you have fast movement speed, the pit inside the Abandoned Iron Mine could be a good option. Otherwise, it’s best to settle around the Saunil District node or the Abandoned Iron Mine Entrance node.

▶ Bcause the hunting the is so extensive, it is important to determine where you want to hunt

5. [Trend] Player Density

The first hunting ground a player will encounter in Mediah if they follow the main quest. There are players who exclusively seek out the Violent monsters, so you may meet another player from time to time. But because the area is so large, you will never have a problem in finding monsters to hunt, even with players around the area. If you run into a player that’s hunting at a similar rate to you, then why don’t you say hi? “You’ve just graduated from Calpheon too, right? Nice to meet you.”

Manes Hideout

It is unclear when, where, or how the Manes came to be as a species. Zoologists say it is simply nonsensical to believe that some hyenas suddenly started walking with two legs and acting like Humans. One thing is certain: they don’t like it when things get messy, just like hyenas.

1. Monster Types and Level

1) Basic Information

Mostly Lv. 50 ~ Lv. 54 monsters

Melee: Small Mane, Big Mane, Giant Manehair

Ranged: Agile Mane

Violent (Stardust Candy): Giant Manehair

2) Features

- Hunting ground with a mix of melee and ranged monsters.- No stress in having to travel back and forth and taking time to rest due to its proximity to Tarif. - A location for daily quests from the Black Spirit. Best to simultaneously carry out the quests from Tarif as well.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

Shouldn’t run into too many problems with even just the minimum requirements, as long as you watch out for the Violent Giant Manehair

Level AP DP
Minimum 51 70 ~ 80 80 ~ 90
Recommended 52 90 ~ 100 110 ~ 120

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

Hunting ground with a mix of melee and ranged monsters. Because the Violent Giant Manehair will occasionally spawn, players hunting with minimum requirements should stay somewhat alert. Like always, don’t forget to take out those pesky ranged monsters first, in this case, the Agile Manes.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route Monsters are spread pretty evenly, so hunting efficiency should be similar for any route you decide to take.

RLaz4dA.png

▶ The best way is to roam around the entire hunting ground.

4. Major Drop Items

Bunch of Manehair

Forbidden Book

Grunil Armor

5. [Trend] Player Density

Because your EXP gain is reduced after Lv. 52 ~ 53, many players that have just arrived in Mediah seek out this place. If most of Mediah’s hunting grounds are congested, then the Manes Hideout would make a good choice due to the chance of acquiring some good loot such as the Forbidden Book and Grunil Armor, with the added benefit of being close to Tarif.

Wandering Rogue Den

These rogues used to roam throughout Mediah, but they recently settled down atop a cliff next to the Junaid River. There’s many rumors about them cooking up some sort of evil plan. Not a single soul has returned after going up to check for themselves, so only the gods are privy to whatever it is they’re up to.

1. Monster Types and Level

1) Basic Information

Mostly Lv. 50 ~ Lv. 54 monsters

Melee: Wandering Rogue, Wandering Rogue Fighter, Blind Pugnose

Ranged: Wandering Rogue Elementalist

Others: Wandering Rogue Obsidian Altar, Wandering Rogue Prison

Violent (Stardust Candy): Wandering Rogue Giant Soldier

2) Features

The rough terrain may be rather painful the first time around, but the monster density is relatively high.- Considering the future Node Wars, it’s a great opportunity to learn the terrain in advance. (Very important!)- Can carry out quests from various places such as Tarif, Highland Junction and Kasula Farm.- There’s a specific route that is very good for earning silver coins. Even high level players seek this place for that purpose.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

You may suffer many attacks from the ranged monsters if you’re not familiar with the terrain, so having high DP will increase the hunting efficiency.

Level AP DP
Minimum 51 70 ~ 80 100 ~ 120
Recommended 52 90 ~ 100 120 ~ 130

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

You will have to always be cautious around the Violent Wandering Rogue Giant Soldier and the Wandering Rogue Elementalist because of their high damage. The Wandering Rogue Elementalist should be taken care of as soon as possible, while the best way to take care of a Wandering Rogue Giant Soldier is to incapacitate them first with skills with knockdown because of their high HP.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

There is a point with high monster density deep inside the Den. It will be more efficient to hunt around that point compared to just hunting around the outskirts. The ‘Belt of Shultz the Gladiator’ that drops from time to time is very popular for its cost effectiveness, and it can help you earn quite a heft sum of money.

SonrCrM.png

▶ It is more efficient to hunt at the inner area of the den.

4. Major Drop Items

Black Stone (Weapon)

Black Stone (Armor)

5. [Trend] Player Density

This hunting ground was originally used by players who had just come over to Mediah for the purpose of leveling up. However, there has been a recent trend of high level players coming to earn silver coins. Nevertheless, it is still far from being congested, so players that meet the appropriate requirements should aim to gain both EXP and silver coins here.

Marni's 2nd Lab

A lab located in Mediah that had been influenced by the mad scientist Marni. It appears that a building has been built on top of an abandoned mine, and what lies underneath is still unknown. This place is inhibited by an advanced form of the mutant monster found in Keplan Base.

1. Monster Types and Level

1) Basic Information

Mostly Lv. 50 ~ Lv. 53 monsters Melee: Mutant Chimera, Mutated Obsidian Monster, Mutated Saunil Ranged: Incomplete Orc Test Subject

2) Features- There is a path that leads underground, and the underground cave is rather long.- Place that must be visited by a Warrior carrying out the Lv. 56 Awakened Weapon quest.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

It is advised that you meet the recommended requirements as the giant monster has high attack and also performs attacks from a distance.

Level AP DP
Minimum 53 110 160
Recommended 54 ~ 55 130 180

2. Strategies

1) Precautions

The Mutant Saunil is one to watch out for due to its giant figure, high attack, and its tendency to run around reckless. Unlike its name, the Incomplete Orc Test Subject has very powerful ranged attack. You must watch out when you go inside the cave as it gets quite narrow, and you cannot avoid it if the huge Mutated Obsidian Monster is blocking the path.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

Because it's a narrow area, it is advised that you go down the underground cave to hunt.

Omar Lava Cave

There were rumors that the secret of how the Altinova Merchants Guild melt Black Crystal to earn so much money was hidden in this lava cave. However, one day the cave exploded from an unknown accident which is said to have transformed some spirits into living Flame Ferrids. To this day, no one knows anything about the explosion or those mysterious creature.

1) Basic Information- Mostly Lv. 50 ~ Lv. 54 monsters

Melee: Ferrid Tali, Ferrid Tuny

Ranged: Ferrid TioViolent (Stardust Candy): Ferrid Tio

Other: Lava Swamp

2) Features

- The only lava region of Mediah - You will encounters players from various guilds as this location is used to summon the Ferrid for a Guild Raid.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

The Omar Lava Cave has been designed with the intention to be used as more as a place for completing quests and raids, rather than acquiring EXP and items. Thus, the following requirements are a guideline for that purpose.

Level AP DP
Minimum 51 60 ~ 65 110 ~ 120
Recommended 52 65 ~ 70 120 ~ 130

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

Ferrid Tali, Ferrid Tuny, and Ferid Tio are easy enough to defeat, but the Violent (Stardust Candy) Ferrid Tio needs to be met with caution as it has extremely high attack and defense. Ferrid Tali will explode nearby and inflict burn damage over time, but it is generally not too big of a threat.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

There are no specific routes as the number of monsters is on the low side.

UMvqIpS.png

▶ Consider the Omar Lava Cave as more of an even location for raids, rather than a hunting ground

4. Major Drop Items

5. [Trend] Player Density

There are nearly no players who come here to earn EXP or silver coins. The ones who do visit are mostly ones doing the ‘Energy Operation’, completing quests, or participating in the guild raid. If you do end up coming here for whatever reason, you could try hunt the Violent (Burning) Ferrid Tio for the potential Forbidden Book loot.

Helms Post

Home of the barbaric Helm tribe native to Mediah. They usually aren’t particularly friendly to outsiders. It is said that they used to be the Dwarves who lived in South Dragan. Some suspect the reason they came up here is because of some internal conflict within the tribe, but only those of the Helm tribe know the truth and they really dislike outsiders.

Others: Helm Tribe Mine, Helm Tribe Forge, Helm Tribe Mineral Wagon

Violent (Stardust Candy): Helm Golem

2) Features

Moderate monster density and all locations have similar hunting efficiency. - The area is quite large, so effects that increase movement speed could be a great asset.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

Due to the characteristics of the hunting ground, DP is more efficient compared to AP.

Level AP DP
Minimum 52 70 ~ 80 125 ~ 135
Recommended 52 85 ~ 95 140 ~ 150

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

Most of the monsters have low defense, but they have high attack. So the most effective way to hunt these monsters is to learn how to negate their attacks (good use of status effect skills, acquiring more DP). However, the most important point is the existence of the Helm Golem (Lv. 59) throughout the hunting ground. They have extremely high HP and AP and use attacks from a distance using magic skills, so even a player with the recommended requirements could die in the blink of an eye. If you think it’s going to be impossible to win after a short encounter with it, the wise choice would be to put your pride aside and take the nearest exit.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

The congested area to the Northwest is the most popular, but the other locations aren’t too bad either. The Helms Post has various loot that can be acquired, and the occasional ‘Scarla Necklace’ can be sold for a hefty sum of silver coins. It could be a very efficient place for gaining EXP if you have reasonable AP and high movement speed.

5. [Trend] Player Density

Although not as popular as the Sausan Garrison or the Elric Shrine, there is a consistent number of players that visit Helms Post. It’s generally not too congested unless there’s a Combat EXP event in progress, so think of it as everyone’s Helms Post that is open to anyone.

Elric Shrine

A temple on the eastern hill of the Rumbling Land. It is currently occupied by the worshipers of the evil deity. According to the documents from a fully-packed bookcase in Elric Monastery, the superstitious belief in the Black Energy and entities called Black Spirits is rooted in ancient times, and it may be related to an ancient civilization.

Others: Decayed Swamp Monster, Elric Shamanic Tree, Ritual Tool of Corruption, Rotten Swamp, Rotten Sand Tower

2) Features

- Monsters are evenly spread across the inner part of the shrine at the highest point and the Canyon of Corruption.- Has a diverse range of loot including a unique drop. Also has superior EXP gain within the Lv. 53 ~ Lv. 55 bracket.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

There aren’t any variables, so players that meet the recommended requirements shouldn’t have any difficulties.

Level AP DP
Minimum 52 80 140
Recommended 53 ~ 54 100 160

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

The Elric High Priest and the Decayed Swamp Monster have powerful ranged attack, so they must be dealt with first.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

The monster density is higher for the Canyon of Corruption, so it’s more popular than the area around the Shrine node. The EXP gain is not too far behind Sausan Garrison, so it’s always one of the best choices to level up. The loot is diverse, and the ‘Outlaw's Ring’ could be a great item to get as well.

5. [Trend] Player Density

Many players in the Lv. 54 ~ 55 bracket visit this place and the Sausan Garrison for the purposes of leveling up. Even the Lv. 57 ~ 59 players have started coming here recently, and its popularity makes it difficult to even find a hunting route for oneself. Check the number of mounts that are parked: if there’s just too many, it’s probably a better idea to go elsewhere.

Sausan Garrison

The northwestern sea of Mediah can be seen from up on this Fort. It was originally ordered to be built by the royal family of Mediah to protect marine trade routes from pirates. However, it is now occupied by the Sausans, the native Barbarian tribe of Mediah.

Melee: Sausan Assassin, Sausan Soldier, Sausan Guardian, Sausan Watch, Tough Sausan Soldier, Sausan Scout

Ranged: Sausan Sniper, Sausan Cannoneer

Others: Sausan Tent, Sausan Supply Camp, Sausan Golden Wagon

2) Features

- The large area and relatively high density of monsters make it suitable for hunting for long durations.- Getting the daily quests from Sarman Outpost will also help out earn some Contribution Points.- Because a lot of the Lv. 54 ~ 55 bracket players come here, you may experience the bizarre sight of there not being a single monster around.- For a player that meets the recommended requirements, the Sausan Garrison is the best hunting ground in terms of EXP gain for the Lv. 54 ~ 55 bracket.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

This hunting ground has no variables, so it is available for any class that satisfy the recommended requirements.

Level AP DP
Minimum 53 80 ~ 90 120 ~ 135
Recommended 54 95 ~ 105 140 ~ 160

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

These human type monsters are rather tough, so you could increase the efficiency of your hunting by using food (Knight Combat Rations) or elixir (Elixir of Human Hunt) that deal additional damage to human type monsters. On your first visit, you may be surprised by the ranged attack of the Sausan Sniper and how the Cannoneer’s attack push away your character. You should learn how to lure the melee monsters to the Snipers and Cannoneers as much as possible, and then defeating them at once.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

There are a number of locations with a high concentration of monsters which are spread out like a Go board. These are like irresistible candy to the players that seek to level up. The inner area is more efficient compared to the outer edges of the garrison (north).

Vi3u8Qo.png

▶ Sausan Garrison is an extremely efficient hunting ground for leveling up.

4. Major Drop Items

Trace of Ascension Sausan Supplies Package Grunil Helmet Grunil Armor Grunil Gloves Grunil Shoes Black Stone (Armor) Black Stone (Weapon) Forbidden Book

5. [Trend] Player Density

The players in the Lv. 54 ~ 55 bracket start to experience the difficulty in leveling up, which is perhaps why the Sausan Garrison always gets so jam-packed. Despite the lack of a unique drop, it is great in terms of EXP gain efficiency. During the evenings, it may even give the illusion that there are more players than monsters. All of this could stress you out, so other hunting grounds such as the Elric Shrine and Helms Post could be a good alternative. Most of the players would have thought one time or another, ‘If only I had this place to myself,’ while hunting here at the Sausan Garrison.

2) Features

- Doesn’t seem to be anything at first glance, but you will see skeleton monsters start to spawn as you approach closer. - You need to always be on your toes as the hunting ground is on the small side and the terrain is not flat. - You can carry out daily quests around the Soldier's Grave Node Manager NPC

2. Level/Gear Requirements

As the monsters in this hunting ground are mostly quite powerful, players that only satisfy the minimum requirements may run into trouble. Thus, it is more efficient for someone with the recommended requirements or higher.

Level AP DP
Minimum 54 120 ~ 130 170
Recommended 55 130 ~ 190 ~

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

The powerful ranged attacks of the Frenzied Skeleton Rifleman and Frenzied Black Sorcerer could be very dangerous if your DP is low. The one thing you will have to get accustomed to here is the need to take care of the Frenzied Skeleton Rifleman as soon as possible. The melee monsters will approach you with the invincibility state, so you need to always watch out that you don’t get flanked by them. The Decurion and Cenurtion that occasionally spawn are difficult to defeat, but should be taken care of for more efficient use of the hunting ground.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

There are no specific good or bad locations as the monsters are well dispersed throughout the hunting ground.

Great place to earn EXP if you meet certain standards after the Lv. 54 mark. However, it is relatively more difficult compared to the Sausan Garrison or Elric Shrine, so it is more efficient for players that satisfy or over-satisfy the recommended requirements. The loot is diverse, and the chance to acquire a ‘Mesto Earring’ will also help earn a sum of silver coins. This place is recommended if you find the Sausan Garrison to be too congested with players.

Abandoned Mine (Helm Dungeon)

A mine that is found inside the Helms Post. It used to belong to the Altinova Merchants Guild, but it seems like it’s been abandoned after the Helms took it over. It is said there are many strange dwarves infused with some sort of power here.

Ranged: Helm Hunter, Helm Devourer

Violent (Stardust Candy): Helm Golem

2) Features

- A path inside the Helm’s Post leads to the Abandoned Mine dungeon- There are monsters from the Helm’s Post as well as those unique to the Abandoned Mine.- The efficiency of this intriguing hunting ground is determined by whether you can defeat the Helm Golem.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

You will need to defeat the Helm Golem, so the hunting efficiency is even better when a player’s specification is higher than the recommended requirements.

Level AP DP
Minimum 54 90 ~ 100 150 ~ 160
Recommended 55 110 ~ 170 ~

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

The Helm Devourers and Crushers are powerful and also immune to status effect skills such as knockdown, bound, and floating. So try and use skills that inflict stun or stiffness when defeating them. Because there are several Helm Golems that spawn around the area, it is advised that players be cautious, even those that satisfy the recommended requirements for the dungeon.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

The Helm underground dungeon has a spiral structure with the Helm Golems bunched up near the bottom. There is quite a lot of other monsters there as well, so hunting the monsters at the bottom is recommended for those who are confident enough in their ability.

5. [Trend] Player Density

Despite the low EXP efficiency, there is a constant stream of players that come here for the reasonable loot and a chance to hit a ‘jackpot’. This hunting ground could be a great option if you’re powerful enough to take down the Helm Golems without a sweat. Try aim for both the ‘Scarla Necklace’ and ‘Ancient Guardian's Seal’.

2) Features

- A dungeon-type hunting ground filled with the tough creatures known as ancient weapons.- You will find giant rooms as you explore the dungeon. Players call these rooms by number as either room 1/2/3.- Not so efficient for gaining EXP, but could be a great choice for earning silver coins.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

Because the dungeon is more suited for earning silver coins, the more efficient way is to exceed the recommended requirements.

Level AP DP
Minimum 54 100 ~ 110 170
Recommended 55 120 ~ 190 ~

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

It is best to at least satisfy the recommended requirements for this dungeon as there are many ranged monsters that also have high attack. When you go hunting, try and prioritize the Kamol, Balten, Buruko, and Ancient Ruins Guard Tower. In this dungeon-type hunting ground, Balten gives the most loot. So it is advised that you settle yourself at a location where you’ll find more Baltens.

7. [Trend] Player Density

There’s not an overwhelming number of players, but there’s always a constant number of those who come for the profit side of things. Sometimes players get overzealous out of their desire to monopolize one of the rooms, which can stir up conflicts. Putting aside the player population, the Hasrah Ancient Ruins is definitely worth a visit to experience the unique atmosphere, thrill of mass hunting, and the potential chance to get some great loot.

Ancient Ruins Excavation Site / Rumbling Land (Wilderness Golem)

Home of the Golems that is spread across the Ancient Ruins Excavation Site and the Rumbling Land. This area was named the Rumbling Land a long time ago because of how the ground shook with great noise whenever these powerful Golems unleashed their wrath.

1. Monster Types and Level

1) Basic Information

- Mostly Lv. 52 ~ Lv. 53 monsters fit for a party

Melee: Wilderness Golem, Gravestone Golem, Stone Golem

Other: Golem Summoning Stone

2) Features

An area with an array of powerful Golems that are especially known for their toughness. It’s optimized for both solo and mass hunting, but it’s also that much more difficult. There is a unique feature where once you defeat a Golem, you can gather resources from its corpse. Through this, you can acquire the ‘Sharp Black Crystal Shard’ which should be on everyone’s wish list. Every player will come here at one point or another to complete the Lv. 56 Awakened Weapon quest.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

The monsters here are very difficult to hunt solo, so it is best to hunt one monster after another if you only meet the minimum requirements. For those who satisfy or exceed the recommended requirements, slowly increase the number of monsters you fight at once until you find a comfort zone place for your capability.

Level AP DP
Minimum 54 120 ~ 150 170 ~
Recommended 55 ~ 56 170 ~ 180 190 ~

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

The Golem Summoning Stone is used to mass hunt in this area as the summoning stone will summon Wilderness/Gravestone/Stone Golems when it receives damage. However, note that all the summoned Golems will vanish and not award any EXP or loot if you eliminate the summoning stone first. So you must learn to start off by defeating the summoned Golems, then take care of the summoning stone at the end. A key strategy you will need to learn is to first hit the summoning stone, run far back to lure the summoned Golems, and then maneuver yourself to bunch up all the Golems together and make it easier to defeat them all at once.

It is especially worth noting that most of the Wilderness Golem’s attack skills have the knockdown status effect. Thus, the ‘Topaz Necklace of Regeneration’ that gives +30% Knockdown/Bound resistance will be very useful. Other food/elixirs that reduce various damages will be important as well. Once you’ve defeated a Golem (Wilderness/Gravestone/Stone), don’t forget to use 1 Energy to gather (Bare Hands) from it.

5. [Trend] Player Density

This hunting ground is more popular to players that have a reasonable level and decent gear. This is due to the beautiful harmony of being able to lure Golems, the sense of adventure that comes from fighting against these gigantic creatures, as well as the ‘Sharp Thrill’ of gathering resource from the corpses of the dead Golems. Plus the occasional Bensho’s Necklace drop is an added bonus.

So it is absolutely recommended that you pay this place a visit if you’re a seasoned player with decent gear. You will be able to experience a wholly unique level of fun here compared to the other hunting grounds of Mediah.

Kuit Islands (Pirate Lair)

An island once thought to have been inhabited by villagers, it is now the main outpost of the Cox Pirates. Their influence has grown so great that Calpheon is planning a punitive expedition across the whole island, but this has become very troublesome because the so-called invincible Trina Marine Knights are experiencing some difficulties.

Melee: Cox Warrior, Cox Raider, Cox Female Warrior, Cox Elite Warrior, Cox Elite Gladiator, Deck Combatant, Deck Elite Combatant, Red Foot Assassin

Melee 2: Megimegi, One-Eyed Outlaw, Captain Khuru, Iron Combatant, Elite Sentinel, Crazy Jack

Ranged: Drunk Treasure Hunter

Others: Pirate Watchtower, Pirate Treasure Chest, Cox Prison

2) Features

- The only hunting ground across the great number of islands. You need to travel for quite a long time on a boat.- The unique drops available here are exceptional: there is a total of four types available between the rings and earrings of the Coral accessories.- There is a General Goods Vendor, Blacksmith, and a Currency Exchange at the entrance of the island, allowing for players to remain and hunt for long durations. - Because players need to venture far into the sea, they may be restricted from enjoying other content in the game.

2. Level/Gear Requirements

It is advised that players meet the AP and DP requirements as the monster density is rather high and the Treasure Hunter has a powerful ranged attack. If you’re hunting as a party, then you shouldn’t find it too difficult with the minimum to recommended requirements. However, if you’re hunting solo, it is best to exceed the recommended requirements in order to be able to hunt efficiently. If you have what is commonly referred to as the ‘DUO Set’ between the players, then this hunting ground should be neither easy nor difficult.

Level AP DP
Minimum 55 115 ~ 125 165 ~ 175
Recommended 55 125 ~ 135 180 ~ 190

3. Strategies

1) Precautions

Crazy Jack, Elite Sentinel, Iron Combatant, and Megimegi are immune to status effects, so players will need to evade or block and negate their attacks in order to survive. Players must also watch out for the Treasure Hunters as they have powerful ranged attacks and are difficult to see due to their small size. In other words, it’s best to take care of them first.

▲ These pesky little things should be dealt with first.

2) Key Locations and Hunting Route

The Kuit Islands are where human type monsters (12 o’clock direction) coexist with demihuman and other human type monsters (6 o’clock direction, Padix Island). Through the update in May 2016, the density of human type monsters in the north is high. So if you’re here to hunt monsters, the north side is recommended rather than the south area. However, if the north area is too congested with players, the south side is a reasonable alternative.

The ‘Pirate Island Main Quest’ that heads to Kuit Islands can be accepted from NPC Rubin in Calpheon City. Rubin is a small kid standing in front of the Storage NPC, Basquean Ljurik. Talk to Rubin when you’re Lv. 53 and above, and he will give you the [Pirates That Threaten Calpheon] quest. Follow this quest series and you should be able to go to Kuit Islands.

6. Available Titles

You can obtain various titles in the Kuit Islands that match the size of the island. The titles such as ‘Hee-hee-hee’ and ‘Rum Nymph’ are particularly popular as they match the unique characteristics of a pirate.

Available Titles: Petty Thief, Raid Captain, Amazon, Talent Above Talent, Sweeper, Pirate Exterminator, Dominator of the Red Island, Marine Fighter, Spicy Stew Chef, Wink Girl, Wink Boy, Captain Khuru, Drunk Pirate, The Treasure Hunters, Pirate Watcher, Hee-hee-hee, Rum Nymph, Guardian of the Sea, Heart of the Sea, Admiral

5. [Trend] Player Density

This hunting ground was never that popular due to problems with accessibility. However, with the recent update with the addition of shops (able to purchase HP potions, repair equipment, exchange silver coins) and the increase in number of monsters, the Kuit Islands are receiving attention once again.

This place efficiently caters all purposes, whether it be leveling up or farming for items and silver coins, especially to the players that have already conquered most of Mediah. It’s a nice place for solo hunting, but partying up with other players will yield great EXP efficiency, even after Lv. 55. There’s also great opportunities to earn money, as monsters drop a good amount of silver coins and miscellaneous items, as well as the potential unique coral accessories.

Of particular interest is the various currencies (Trade Item) that the pirates drop. Gather and sell them through Node Investment to not only earn silver coins, but Trading EXP as well.

If you want to forget about everything else and just purely focus on hunting for a period of time, then get on a boat and head off to the Kuit Islands. Can it get any more perfect when you consider that you don’t have to get frightened by the sound of Kzarka’s cry every so often?
